Hello, I'm Alexis! I'm a Chicago based aspiring software engineer, currently building upon my programming skills through my experience with Coding Dojo and various other projects. I am passionate about every aspect of coding I have found myself in so far. To solve the puzzle, to perfect an idea, and to know that I was the one who made it happen: all of these aspects excite me. I'm very optimistic about my future in this field and excited to see where it leads me!

Through my past and current work experience, I am often described as an extroverted and energetic team leader. l have the natural ability to bring everyone together, working as a unit through my patience, coherence, and resilience. A strong pride is restored in me when I see all my efforts in making sure everyone is working at their best capacity, due to my hands-on teaching and learning style. Building off of my team's skills, while ensuring proper results, enabled me to become a more focused collaborator. These learning opportunities, over the years, have taught me that consistency and commitment are essential for personal and professional growth. I am eager to apply all of these attributes moving forward towards new goals surrounding an exciting new career path.
